In this hypothetical rebrand for Odwalla, I chose to modernize and simply the Odwalla brand. The current branding is quite busy and relies on images of the fruits featured in each drink. The store-bought fruit juice/smoothie market has become incredibly competitive, so I believe a simpler, more graphic approach is more effective in catching the eye of potential consumers. The final packaging for the bottles minimizes the real estate taken up by the label, allowing the beautiful colors of the drinks to be seen. In designing a 6-pack carrier, I went for a bolder, brighter design that pulls from the colors in the logo, which will also attract the attention of shoppers.
